Official rates
Short-stay car parks P1 and P3 are free up to 15 minutes and cost € 3.00 for the first hour. P4, the multi-storey low-cost car park, costs € 10.00 per day; long-stay P6 costs € 12.00 per day. If a vehicle stays in P1 or P3 for more than 12 hours, the regulations provide for a € 30.00 per day penalty starting from the date of entry.
Terminal access
All car parks are operated directly by SAC — Società Aeroporto Catania S.p.A. and can be reached on foot from the terminals. Access follows the signs from the Arrivals entrance; summary displays at the airport entrance and at each car park show where spaces are available.

The car parks are open from 00:00 to 24:00 every day, public holidays included.
Available spaces
Four areas have an official published factsheet: P1 with 97 spaces, P3 with 81, P4 with 1,851 and P6 with 540, for a total of 2,569 car spaces. Real-time availability is published by the airport on the entrance displays and on its own website.
Vehicle restrictions
The car parks are reserved for cars without trailers of any kind. Motorcycles may access car parks P4 and P6. Buses, trailers, caravans and goods vehicles are not allowed. Vehicles parked in prohibited or reserved areas are removed: they are collected at P4 after paying € 40.00 for removal, plus € 40.00 per day of storage.
Booking and cancellation
The operator does not publish an online booking system: you enter by taking a ticket at the entrance column, or with a magnetic season card or a Telepass device. Payment is made before collecting the car, at the automatic pay stations, in cash, by credit card or debit card; invoices are requested at the control room located at the entrance of car park P2. After payment you must exit within 10 minutes. If the access ticket is lost, a new one is issued after paying for the stay plus € 15.00.
Parking assistance
The operator states that customer assistance is available 24 hours a day. The parking supervision desk can be reached from any automatic pay station; the control room is at the entrance of car park P2. The car parks are unattended and SAC is not liable for damage to or theft from vehicles and their contents.
